The Gospel

God

There is one living and true God, who is holy. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

Creation

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. He created because it is in his nature.  He created so that his creation would bring him glory.

The Fall

People are the special creation of God, made in His own image. We are sinful, and choose our own way rather than God’s way. Therefore, we are condemned to living eternally separated from God. Only the grace of God can bring us into His holy fellowship and enable us to fulfill the creative purpose of God.

Redemption

Salvation involves the redemption of the whole person, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Salvation comes only from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. More about a relationship of faith.

Consummation

According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth in God’s own time; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all people in righteousness. Christians will be with God forever, worshipping Him.

The Bible:

The Holy Bible was written by men who were divinely inspired over the course of millennia and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction.  The scriptures are both authoritative and inerrant.

Jesus:

Jesus is God in the flesh.  He was born of a virgin.  He came to seek and save the lost, all those who would seek him.  He lived a holy and sinless life, an example for the christian of righteous living.  He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for sin, and then came back to life.  He sits at the right hand of the father.  Faith in Jesus is the only way to salvation.
